BACKGROUND
ather/daughter winemaking team, Mike and Natalie, love their red wine repertoire, but they also love adding new wines into the mix. This is one reason why they started their Reserve Program, to introduce small-lot, high-quality not widely produced wines. Their idea stemmed from the notion of Natalie wanting to experience various varietals not on their normal list. They are able to accomplish this by producing 100 - 200 cases or even less of each unique varietal. Special attention is paid to these wines, which is why they are given the Reserve label.
VARIETAL
100% 2018 Mourvèdre
WINEMAKING
This wine has such wonderful unique flavors that Mike and Natalie tried to do as little as possible to the wine to ensure those one-of-a-kind characteristics would shine. This means that they did not do any fining and very minimal filtering. The wine spent 18 months in a blend of French and American oak, soften the edges of this bright wine.

TASTING NOTES
This gorgeous ruby-colored wine engulfs all senses with aromas and flavors of plum, black currant, toasted oak, and violets. Left lingering on your tongue long after the wine is swallowed are flavors of blueberry mingled with hints of black pepper and fine leather.
FOOD PAIRING
This wine pairs wonderfully with beef, robust pasta dishes, and even dark chocolate. Try Ellena’s Red Wine Tri-Tip recipe online at
