After 20 years in winemaking, I started a new wine label. This new project is not like anything I've ever done before. My aim, through this new label, is to search across Washington State for high-quality bulk, finished wines, which I will purchase, bottle, and offer to you all. And, I still remain firm in my family's passion, to make these wines accessible to everyone at reasonable prices.
I LOVE sparkling wine! And I mean LOVE it! But, it is something that I have never been able to make because we don't have the necessary equipment (pressurized tank, specialized corker on bottling line). There are many wineries that will make their wine and send it off to another winery that can add carbonation and bottle it for them. I have considered that option, but I don't like the bubbles as much as I like it when it is made in the traditional method, which is much more time consuming; here is a great article that shows the different methods for making a sparkling wine: https://winefolly.com/deep-dive/how-sparkling-wine-is-made/. This sparkling wine is made the traditional method at the brut sugar level (almost completely dry) and is a blend of 61.8% Chardonnay, 12.7% Pinot Noir, 7.7% Pinot Gris, and 17.8% misc whites. These base wines are from multiple AVA's and vintages so it is denoted as Columbia Valley and non-vintage. I have already enjoyed multiple bottles, and I can't wait for you to be able to enjoy it as well! I bought 44 cases for this initial release, and I am already down to 40!
