BACKGROUND
This wine was inspired by Ellena and her best friend Janna, as it was their go- to “wine-time” treat. Each would keep wine glasses ready and chilled in the freezer in preparation for their special Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio concoction. So, we created this blend to honor not only their relationship, but also all best friends everywhere: they are hard to come by, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.

SOURCING
We chose Ellena's two favorite White Wine Varieties, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, to create this blend, as it was inpsired by her and her best friend. The light and fresh character of the Pinot Gris harmoniously blends with the Chardonnay's well-rounded and buttery finish.

WINEMAKING
Ellena and Janna were never exact in their wine concoction, but it was always mostly Chardonnay, with a bit of Pinot Gris to add a little crisp, fresh mouthfeel. My dad and I did blending trials with my mom, and she chose what she liked the best. So this is truly her blend, in her style. We hope that you feel how much love was put into this wine, and enjoy it with your best friend!
